Maghreb protests and especially Tunisian riots shed a light on the 169-million-dollar plan launched on Tuesday by Jordan against “soaring prices”. US immediately grants Jordan 100 million dollars in extra economic aid , owing les Echos. This aid will promote health and education to “improve the daily life” of Jordanians. Nevertheless, in spite of this financial aid, Jordanians protested in Amman last Friday…
In the course of the last decade, Jordan has made tremendous strides in health care ; hence, the Kingdom is ranked first as a medical tourism destination in the region. An interesting focus this week from Oxford Business Group reminds us that “Jordan’s medical tourism sector is currently heavily reliant on a few neighbouring states for the vast majority of its activity.”

The Jordan Times highlights that nurses and midwives are in the foreground concerning primary care. Furthermore, on Thursday 6th January, Minister of Health Mahmoud Sheyyab underlined during a meeting with Jordan Nurses and Midwives Association (JNMA) the relevent role of these care providers in patient care and home care.1.
Last Tuesday in Jeddah, a two-day conference on home health care urged all hospitals to operate affiliated home care centers that meet international quality standards. The Saudi Gazette and Arabnews shed light on this topic, advocating the role of the media in raising awareness, knowledge and understanding of home health.

Home healthcare can be the best, most cost-effective choice for people with medical needs that do not require intensive supervision. the media are an important source of information and a basic element in acquainting people with the concept and vision of home healthcare and described media outlets as the most important means of communication with regard to enlightenment and creating awareness.
